Campfire Overview and Setup
Campfire is a modern accounting platform for SaaS, covering invoicing, payments, and multi-entity consolidation. Once connected, Measure syncs customers, invoices, payments, and credit notes to Campfire automatically. This article walks you through connecting your account and configuring the integration.
Navigating to Campfire Settings
In Measure, navigate to Integrations and select the Campfire integration.
Click Connect Account.
Paste your Campfire API key into the field. You can find this in your Campfire account settings. Click Update to save it.
Select your Campfire organization from the list, then click Select to confirm.
Measure begins the initial implementation for that organization. Complete each configuration step before the integration becomes active.
Accounting Products Mapping
Under Accounting Products Mapping, match each Measure product to its corresponding product in Campfire. Accurate product mapping ensures the correct taxes are calculated when invoices sync.
Campfire Controls
The settings panel includes controls that determine how data is pushed to Campfire. You can enable the following options:
Override Campfire Customer Address with Address from Measure: Syncs customer billing addresses from Measure to the corresponding customer records in Campfire. When you update an address in Measure, it updates in Campfire.
Add Period Dates to Campfire Line Item Description: Appends the service period (for example, 01 Jan 2024 - 31 Jan 2024) to each invoice line item description in Campfire. This is useful for recurring subscriptions billed monthly or annually.
Do Not Push Manual Payments to Campfire: Excludes manually recorded payments in Measure from syncing to Campfire. Payments processed through integrated providers such as Stripe are not affected.
Syncs, Matches, and Logs
The top tabs in the Campfire integration panel let you monitor sync activity and history.
Matches: View and manage how customers, invoices, and payments in Measure are matched to records in Campfire. Manually match any items that were not linked automatically.
Syncs: See a summary of items pending a sync. Trigger a manual sync from this tab.
Logs: Review a detailed history of all sync activities and any errors that occurred.
